A heat gun is a device used to emit a stream of hot air, usually at temperatures between 350 °C and 550 °C, which is held by hand. Its uses include removing paint and wallpaper, heating and bending plastics and softening glue and adhesive. They’re also useful for thawing frozen pipes in the winter and for shrink wrapping, working much faster than a standard hair dryer. CAUTION: 1. This tool is designed for indoor use only. 2. Using this tool for prolonged periods may cause it to overheat and malfunction. 3. Ease the temperature of the tool to ensure the tool doesn’t overheat. It is suggested frequent breaks are taken to allow the tool to cool down. 4. Take extra care of the heat gun element, once hot it can become fragile and break if dropped or knocked.
